Delivery Fee
A delivery fee will apply to each order placed and will be clearly stated during checkout. Please note that express and overnight delivery services are not available for certain remote or outlying areas.
Delivery Timeframe
We always strive to deliver your order on the agreed date. However, delivery timelines may be affected by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. If there are any issues preventing us from delivering on time, we will notify you as soon as possible. You may then choose to proceed with the order or cancel it for a full refund.
While we aim to dispatch all items in your order together, this may not always be possible, especially during busy periods such as sales, Christmas, or Black Friday. Orders requiring ring sizing may take up to five (5) additional business days to process before shipping.
Stock Availability
We cannot guarantee the availability of all items at the time of purchase. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will inform you promptly and issue a full refund for the unavailable item(s).
Receiving Your Delivery
If you are unable to personally accept the delivery, please ensure that an authorised person is available at your delivery address. Anyone accepting delivery on your behalf will be presumed to have your permission to do so. Upon delivery, a signature, name, and valid identification (such as an ID or driver’s licence) will be required to confirm receipt.
Inspection Upon Delivery
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If you are satisfied that the items are in good condition and free of damage, you or your representative must sign the delivery slip. This signed slip serves as proof that the goods were received in perfect condition.
Courier Services
We use reputable courier services for all deliveries. Roelien de Klerk Jewellery is not liable for any damages, delays, or losses resulting from the actions or omissions of the courier, including their employees, agents, or subcontractors.
Returns
- If you are not satisfied with your purchase (excluding defective or customised items), you may return it within 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery or collection. To qualify for a return, the item must:
Be unused and in its original condition
- Include all original packaging (where applicable)
- Be accompanied by the original invoice or delivery note
If the item was received as a gift, the original delivery note is still required.
Please note: We cannot accept returns of items that have been engraved, resized, altered, or taken apart in any way.
For hygiene reasons, jewellery used for piercings cannot be returned under any circumstances. Personalised, engraved, resized, or custom-altered pieces are also non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Incorrect items delivered
If we accidentally deliver the wrong item or an item that does not match the description on our website:
- Please notify us immediately.
- We will arrange collection of the item at no cost to you.
- You may choose to have the correct item sent (subject to availability) or request a full refund, issued using your original payment method.
Returning items by courier
If returning items via courier:
- You must complete a returns form, stating the reason for the return.
- All goods must be repacked in their original packaging.
- If the item is not defective, you will be responsible for a collection fee.
If all return conditions are met, we will refund you in full, minus any applicable delivery charges.
If you do not have the original invoice or delivery note, or the item was a gift, we may (at our sole discretion) allow an exchange for goods of equal value, but no refund will be issued.
Faulty or defective items
You may return faulty or defective goods within 3 (Three) months of purchase, provided:
- They have been used only for their intended purpose, and
- They have not been altered, damaged, or misused.
Upon inspection, if the item is found to be genuinely defective or of poor quality, we will either:
- Repair the item,
- Replace the item, or
- Issue a full refund via your original payment method.
However, returns will be refused if the item was:
- Exposed to water, chemicals, or moisture (e.g., leather or metal discolouration),
- Misused, damaged through negligence, or altered in any way, or
- Not found to be defective upon our assessment.
Natural Materials Notice
Our leather and wood inlay products are crafted using natural materials and may display markings, natural cracks, or live edges—these are not defects but rather part of the unique character of the item.
Please note: Leather bracelets should not be exposed to water.
Ethical Sourcing
We are committed to ethical practices. All diamonds sold by Roelien de Klerk Jewellery are conflict-free and sourced in accordance with the Kimberley Process, ensuring that they do not fund violence.
